I Live with you - Analysis

I live with you was a crazy weird story. I recently had just watched Parasite and it reminded me a lot of the plot in that movie. The narration is strange it also reminded me of the show You on Netflix which I despise. I have to say this short story is creative but I hate the narrator. The story basically did its job and made me feel uncomfortable.

Ready Player One - Analysis

Ready Player One was a great read. I enjoyed the story of an underdog overcoming the odds and ultimately winning. This story is quite like another story that I loved growing up, Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. You have to be chosen in a way to really understand the clues left behind by Halliday thus the "golden ticket". There is also selling the secrets of The Everlasting Gobstopper to the enemy present within this story. The equivalent to that is some characters work for the enemy to divulge secrets. Lastly, the idea that the most deserving and humble character walks away with the prize is similar. I really liked this story and had a good time reading about the trails.

However, it could also mean that since this giant was washed up and the narrator of the story describes the facial features in a way that is reminiscent of a person of high social standing, thus proving my point that this giant was killed and exiled and there was reason to do so because they had something to gain from killing it. I enjoyed the references towards Homer in this short story and I find it funny that I always end up finding something connected to classical greek myth in most stories. I always end up gravitating towards those stories more. This idea that there is another universe with giants is a strange one and in this day and age it w
